ACTION REQUIRED! - IYT Student Registration: As an IYT (International Yacht Training) partner school, SailQuest is authorized to issue IYT certificates to students who successfully complete our training courses. In order to process your IYT certificates, it is required for all students to create an online profile on the IYT website. See full details here: Complete your IYT Student Registration.
When completing your IYT Student Registration, be sure you have entered a valid mailing address as your hard-copy, credit card style IYT certificates will be posted to this address via IYT Worldwide offices in Vancouver, Canada following completion of your sailing course.
You can complete the registration process now. Once you complete your IYT Student Registration, please forward your confirmation email and IYT Student number to SailQuest.
ACTION REQUIRED! - IYT Bareboat Skipper Exam & IYT VHF Radio Operator Exam: All IYT Bareboat Skipper students must complete and pass the IYT Bareboat Skipper & IYT VHF Radio Operator exams in order to receive the IYT Bareboat Skipper, IYT VHF Radio Operator and other available IYT and ICC certificates. This will involve completing 2 multiple choice IYT exams.
Students can complete these exams before arrival (recommended) or while the course is in session, in their spare time during lunch breaks, or after daily classes.
Click the links below to see the Manuals, Exams & Answer Sheets. You can print any or all the docs, or just the answer sheets, to complete the exam in advance. We will provide hard copies during your course dates and you can fill in our printed answer sheets when you are here.
All answers can be found in the IYT Bareboat Skipper & IYT Radio Operator Manuals, according to the IYT module sections on the Answer Sheet.
