We are happy to announce that Team SailQuest will enter 2 yachts in the Samui Regatta 2020.

Join in sailors can choose to join either yacht, or there may be a chance to sail on both boats for a day or 2 during the event.

Simply put, this is an awesome event. Join the SailQuest racing team and get involved in the premier international racing event in the Gulf of Thailand. We are looking for crew members of all experience levels. This is a perfect opportunity to gain some serious sailing experience in a very educational and exciting racing event.

Participants can choose to join the SailQuest yacht for the 210 nautical mile voyage from our SailQuest Ocean Marina location to the Samui based event or you can make your own way to Ko Samui and join the SailQuest team for the Regatta event only.

Event Join-In Options/Dates:

Full event, delivery both ways and regatta event – May 21-June 02
Delivery one way to Samui and regatta event – May 21-May 30 late evening
Regatta event and delivery to Ocean Marina – May 24-June 02
Regatta event only – May 24-May 30 late evening

Booking Hotel Accommodation in Ko Samui:

The Samui Regatta event combines on the water racing with some amazing onshore parties and prize giving ceremonies. SailQuest Samui Regatta participants need to book onshore accommodation during the racing event (check in on May 24, check out on May 31).

The Samui Regatta 2020 will be hosted at http://www.synergysamui.com/ . It is strongly recommended to find a place with-in easy walking distance to the regatta event

Delivery/Milebuilder Voyage

12:00 - Depart Ocean Marina, Pattaya, Thailand - 210 nautical mile ocean passage to the regatta event in Ko Samui

Sunday, May 24

12:00 Arrive in Ko Samui and complete race registration/entry process
Check-In to your hotel during the racing event
Opening party at Zico's Brazillian BBQ

Monday, May 25 - Saturday, May 30

When you combine the 210 mile x 2 Milebuilder/Delivery voyage with the racing event itself, you will be getting an exceptional, well rounded sailing experience that will really teach you a LOT about the world of yachting. Honing your sailing skills while racing is a sure way to gain valuable sailing experience. The delivery miles will give participants a first hand look at live-aboard cruising.
